Movie: Hysteroscopic myomectomy with the mini-resectoscope

Small fibroids inside the uterus can be removed without general anaesthesia (sometimes even without local anaesthesia) using a miniature resectoscope. This has the advantage that recovery is even faster with none of the after-effects associated with a general anaesthetic. Polyps can be excised using the same instrument.
